A study published in the journal Rheumatology states that patients with “Raised inflammatory markers at the start of [TNF-a Inhibitor] therapy” had greater improvement in regards to disease activity.
Overall, the authors write that, “The majority of patients receiving anti-TNF therapy for AS during routine care demonstrated an improvement in disease activity.”

I have to agree. I was told it was a wonder drug and used both major available brands for six months. Apart from the €1600 per month the pain didn’t increase or decrease.
